TOP MARQUES MONACO APRIL 18th TO 21st 2013

Genty Automobile is pleased to announce its presence at Top Marques Monaco April 18th to 21st l 2013.

 

Visitors, as well as customers, investors, and partners will appreciate the work done over the last few months detailing each item on a ¼ scale model been assembled using the same process that will be used for the final scale car.

 

Each piece of this model was produced by our partner Materialise (www.materialise.com), a leader in Additive Manufacturing (also known as 3D Printing) through 3D printing technology, the latter being derived directly from design CAD files. A video showing the production of the main part of the model will be on display during the show.

 

The second model on display visualises the final stage of the super car’s styling process. The special highlights of the classical beauty of Akylone have been sculpted directly out of the physical clay model, which was produced by our Partner Form3 Design Studios in Germany (www.form3.de).

 

These two models will highlight the specifics of the new Akylone.
Aerodynamics, aesthetics, the entire interior portion, and performance have been reviewed over the last few months, which has also led the company Genty Automobile to work with new partners.
Among them, we now have a very strong partnership with 9ff (www.9ff.com) (owner of 9 world speed records over the last 10 years). Jan Fattauher, as a manager of 9ff, is committed to set the bar very high in the design and development of mechanical aspects of Akylone.

 

Conditions have already been set together to ensure that Akylone will be positioned not a as Supercar but as a Hypercar, thanks, among other techniques, to an “effective power” achieved thru a perfectly controlled connection to the ground.

 

During this exhibition, our partner EXA (www.exa.com), leader in its field, will also present with us a new video of the aerodynamics / heat study applied to Akylone.

 

This simulation ends the simulation phase for the Akylone project and creates the transition to the manufacturing of the first prototype for the certification and the production of 15 units of the Akylone coupe and 10 Akylone roadsters.
